Today, we’ll practice the next step in the process called - INCLUDE.

 

Here’s how it goes: when the interrupter catches you - PAUSE - and feel both hands for a moment to - DIFFUSE - your attention and bring calm into your mind.

 

Then look at your craving - the yoghurt, the snack, whatever is calling you and notice the sensation in your body that the craving triggers (you can also close your eyes to feel it better).

 

Then keep feeling that sensation while staying aware of your hands. 
 

Notice that I’m not asking you to fight it or distract yourself from the craving. I’m asking you to INCLUDE it in your awareness instead.

 

Take five minutes today to do a short, 5 minute mind exercise (below). It will help you practice including the craving and your hands in your awareness simultaneously.
